Teachers have as much influence as us parents (if not a tad more). They have chosen to give their lives for the betterment of the innocent, to teach, sculpt, enthuse, motivate and inspire. That's the key, that one, the inspiration point. William Ward said it best (a quick rule of thumb: you can always trust someone with an alliterated name) when he said "The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires."
Well, as a parent who is desperately worried about my child going to school because he desperately concerned with the direction and beliefs of a failed education system that places too much teacher priority on bureaucracy and not enough on the passion required to be a great teacher, Barry White Jnr, I'd let you teach my Phoebe everyday of the week, and at weekends, and I'd probably try and hire you for a touch of summer school too. Keep being you. Keep inspiring. You've certainly inspired me.
